COLOR PENCIL REP

Inspired by the iconic ’90s cartoon Rugrats, this work reimagines Reptar through an abstract, contemporary color palette. Familiar yet intentionally disrupted, the piece distorts nostalgia into something more expressive—where childhood memory collides with modern reinterpretation.

Executed in acrylic and sealed with a high-gloss resin finish, the surface amplifies color, movement, and texture. The abstract treatment pushes the character beyond literal reference, allowing emotion, energy, and visual rhythm to take precedence over form.
