Created during the filming of Season 2 of Heels, while Allen Maldonado embodied the role of Rooster, this piece reimagines a familiar animated world through a darker, more mature lens. What was once playful becomes charged with tension and introspection—mirroring the psychological weight and grit of the character and the environment in which the work was conceived.

Executed in acrylic and finished with a lustrous resin topper, the piece carries a heightened sense of contrast and depth, inviting viewers to confront nostalgia transformed by lived experience and creative evolution.
