Created during the filming of Season Two of Heels in Atlanta, this large-scale work reflects Allen Maldonado’s abstract exploration of presence—both mental and physical—amid the demands of production. Composed in moments between takes, the piece captures focus, immediacy, and the discipline of staying grounded within constant motion.

Executed with acrylic and marker, the composition balances instinctive gesture with intentional restraint, allowing line and form to function as meditative acts. The result is a visual record of awareness in real time—process-driven, immersive, and deeply personal.
